Jow Ga Kung Fu offers classes with
modern techniques combined with traditional teaching methods and
training for an enjoyable yet challenging experience. The
student will receive personalized attention and allowed to progress
at their own rate. |
Training
consists of:
- Stretching and body conditioning exercises
- Practical self defense techniques
- Open hand and weapon forms
- Sparring
- Kicking techniques
- History and Philosophy of the system
|
 |
We use our Martial Art training
to encourage discipline, self confidence, self control, empathy,
and the willingness to work with others. Developing people
is a special skill and we understand that. We enjoy sharing
our skills with others.
The empty hand forms which students will practice are an integration
of defensive and offensive techniques often simulating the movements
of wild animals. Kung Fu Masters would study these fighting
techniques to determine the most natural and effective use of
the body for self defense. |

|
Students
may compete in
tournaments
successfully
against all styles. |
However, the Jow Ga system emphasizes
real life combat effectiveness, but its special skills have been
proven most effective in sports competition. |
